ISO/TS 16949 - Quality Management System - 
          Particular requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 for 
          automotive production and relevant service parts organizations 
            

Benefits of ISO/TS 16949:
            
            The ISO/TS 16949 standard integrates the existing overall 
            requirements for quality management systems of most parts 
            of the international automotive industry.  
            The target of this standard is to efficiently improve system 
            and process quality. This improvement will result in increased 
            customer satisfaction, the development of means to analyze 
            failures and risks in production processes within the whole 
            supply chain, the provision of approaches to find the root 
            cause for quality issues, and the ability to evaluate the 
            effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions. 
 
            ISO/TS 16949:2009 can be applied to the whole 
            supply chain of the automotive industry. The certification 
            process will be operated based on the rules defined by 
            IATF (International Automotive Task Force). Today every 
            Tier 1 supplier and OEM must be certified prior to
