Occupational Safety
OHSAS 18001 - Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series -
Identify and resolve health risks in the workplace

Based on the structure of ISO 9001, the British standard OHSAS
18001 deals with occupational and health safety aspects. The standard
describes how to implement and run safety projects systematically, and
how to put continuous improvement processes in place.
Hazard identification, risk assessment and the definition of short
and long-term counter measures are part of the requirements. Some of
the more important demands include defining clear responsibilities
                  and instituting close management control.
